Issue #7 Call For Entries- A Very Special CFE!

Issue #7 & A Hand Magazine Exhibition!

The call for entries for the next issue of The Hand Magazine is due November 15th. It’s a quick turnaround after our last issue because not only are we selecting images for Issue #7 (out in January), but some of those selections will also be included in an exhibition titled, Do You Copy?, at the Potter Gallery at Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, Missouri. This exhibition will be half invitational and half curated from your submissions for Issue #7. For details on this special exhibition call for entries, see our Submissions page. The exhibition’s opening reception will be on Friday, January 16th. The show will run through Feb. 15th. So submit your images for a chance to be part of the very first Hand Magazine exhibition!

Just to avoid confusion, we would like to say that we are also very excited about a second separate exhibition we are curating for A1 Lab Arts in Knoxville, Tennessee, for the Southern Graphics Council International annual conference in March. This invitational-only show, titled, A Show of Hands, will feature over 50 of the best contemporary photographic and print-based artists working today. All of whom have been featured in The Hand Magazine! James and Adam will also be conducting a workshop at A1 Lab Arts during the conference. More details on that later. We are very happy to be part of the SGCI schedule. Check it out on the SGCI website. We are looking forward to meeting many of you in person.
